mom I'm home..:)

Hey… !! me in India..cool kada…. In cool cool Hyderabad… I came just yesterday and till now I did not put a step outside my home. I am damn tired yaar. Feeling lot better now ofcourse. Yesterday I was attending all phone calls and samewas today morning. Then ate some dosas..yummy . and then had a sleep for 2 hours. Got up got dressed and now I need to have my lunch, in meanwhile I thought I would post something here… Hmm.. Coming to the journey, I started on 10th at 3.30pm from philly and from there to Connecticut and then to Frankfort and then to Columbo and from there to Hyderabad…whew.. too many connecting flights na.. thanks to my sister… lol.!! Well the flight to Connecticut was fine…. I read some Harry potter during the flight.... in the airport I was starving so we ate some pizza and pasta from sbaro. I did some duty free shopping for Santosh in the airport. From there the flight to Frankfort was very boring.! It was I think 8 hours of flying.. i saw “Charlie and the Chocolate factory” in the flight it was a cute movie.. then tried to sleep a lil’ bit but… t’was not possible.. hmm… we made some frens (co passenger) going to India too!! in the flight Ashwin and Nutan.. so now we were a group of four. In Frankfort, we had to wait for 4 hours.. I was very tired but myself and Nutan went around the airport and doing bakwas timepass…, Ashwin went around too and my sister was too tired to walk so she was in charge of the luggage… In Frankfort we met quite a few students going to India.. and lo! We met a group of my sister’s frens in the airport… and wahan se masti started… now we were a group of 10 ppl .. the flight to Srilanka was nice... me, Anil and didi shared seat with one srilankan, who was such a big nut.. seriously… he was a great comedy.. I think he was a lil’ mental too... he was doing all crazy things and irritating us.. he was bugging the airhostess and all passengers around.. Anil was sitting beside him so I was having all fun and laughing like hell while Anil had some really tough time… he was drunk soon and was off to sleep… then we dozed to sleep too.. had some small naps and saw chandramukhi…(lakalakalakalkalka) and saw some srilankan variety channel..( baap re lavanya got to see the dances in srilankan movies..lol!!) and then parineetha… hmm thats it… this was a long journey too, about 9 hours I think and the flight was delayed by an hour due to bad weather..! and at last we reached srilanka, here we had to wait for 12 hours, so we were taken to a hotel “Dolphin” which was near the sea. We exchanged dollars for srilanka currency at the airport.. 1 dollar was worth 100 rupees so I took 500 rupees and some of them exchanges 15-20$. Everything was so expensive for us in there.. for 500ml of bottled water I had to pay 50rupees..(the marked price.. I noticed later on the bottle was 20 rupees) anyways..lite na.. then refresh hoke we had some breakfast… and went to the sea… the main factor was that we should not doze off to overcome jetlag…. We did lot of masti in the sea.. took some pictures collected some shells.. and by lunch time, we came back to room dressed up again and did some timepass masti-chat for some time.... it was already getting too humid there…. We had our lunch.. the food was great in the restuarent esp the desserts were awesome.. Hey I got a feeling that we were eating a lot during the journey… esp starting from Frankfort, in the srilankan airways, food was being served for ever 2-3 hours I suppose and we were eating all the time....lol!! the airport shuttle came to pick us up at around 3.30pm … I sat in the navigator seat… and started asking too many questions to the driver… annoying him. Giving him directions to the airport and asking him to follow the driving rules… he was driving so rash… it was too scary… in the airport we had to take boarding passes.. .. there were so many Indian students there .. baap re.. all going to Hyderabad.. the flight to Chennai had already left and the flight to Bombay was at 12 in the night,.. so all present at the airport was Hyderabadi junta… there was a lot of confusion at the airport, there were some unidentified suitcases over there and we had to check if it belonged to us and check in back.. thankfully.. our luggage was not in that lot. The airport staff was very rude ans were getting so irritated all the time. All of them were so tired in thr.. all the chit chatting and masti was stopped. We boarded the flight to Hyderabad and dozed off to sleep. I woke up while the flight was landing and as the wheels touched the ground I shouted with excitement… then as the plane came to a halt, everybody started to clap and shout and whistle... it took a lot of time at immigration and baggage collection,… one of my sister’s suitcase was missing so we had to finish the paper work for it and it took almost an hour for her there mwnawhile I was chatting with all the security officers in thr.. and at last after 2 hours after landing we were out of the airport … there was no customs check or anything so everything was cool.. fine.. mom and dad came to receive us at the airport.. and came home at around 11pm. Made some calls, and chatted and slept at around 2 in nignt…

I am going to India...

Hey ... me going to India on 10th dec... yeah i know that u know... i ahve been telling this to everybody lately... just to hear "wow thats great..!!" hmm... i am almost done with the shopping part ( yeah abhi i need to buy some more stuff... always thr...) i got many many choclates last weekend from costco so now one suitcase of mine is filled with only with choclates...

Thanksgiving mania..!!

What did you shop for thanksgiving??? the whole America was in a shopping mania!!.... this was a question evryone asked each other and my answer was nothing.. seriously i did not go to K.mart too (K.Mart is just 2 mins walk from my home) i did not buy anything... i am going to India on 10th dec but i did not buy anything..!! hmm.. some of my frens shopped for 1000$ atleast ... so what did i do?? hmm.. good question and the answer is nothing again.. actually Lavanya was down with viral fever so i was at home with her... hmm even then i did not have any plans to shop in the midnight esp in that bitter cold. I went to shoppinglast year and it was a waste of time and energy .. and not really worth to sacrifice the most precious sleep... so stayed home.. and did some timepass... Nikhil had come down from Memphis and we had a lot of fun together usko full pakaya... did not go out much than a desi restuarent and one day trip to Bryn Mawr hospital and a one day trip to Jersey. We had so many visitors at home as Lopa and Lavanya were not well everyone was at our home.... time just flew away... had lots of fun... BTW lavanya is fine now..... and then thanksgiving chale gaya.. hmm.. Sudhakar left, sachin left and Nikhil bhi chale gaya sabhi chalegaye.. every one left like whoosh.. and i am back to school... i have my project due for wednesday... and hammering my head over the stuff... at present I am excited about my India trip which is just few days away... yeh jo desh hai mera.. swadesh hai mera... mujhko pukaraa....
