mom I'm home..:)

Hey… !! me in India..cool kada…. In cool cool Hyderabad… I came just yesterday and till now I did not put a step outside my home. I am damn tired yaar. Feeling lot better now ofcourse. Yesterday I was attending all phone calls and samewas today morning. Then ate some dosas..yummy . and then had a sleep for 2 hours. Got up got dressed and now I need to have my lunch, in meanwhile I thought I would post something here… Hmm.. Coming to the journey, I started on 10th at 3.30pm from philly and from there to Connecticut and then to Frankfort and then to Columbo and from there to Hyderabad…whew.. too many connecting flights na.. thanks to my sister… lol.!! Well the flight to Connecticut was fine…. I read some Harry potter during the flight.... in the airport I was starving so we ate some pizza and pasta from sbaro. I did some duty free shopping for Santosh in the airport. From there the flight to Frankfort was very boring.! It was I think 8 hours of flying.. i saw “Charlie and the Chocolate factory” in the flight it was a cute movie.. then tried to sleep a lil’ bit but… t’was not possible.. hmm… we made some frens (co passenger) going to India too!! in the flight Ashwin and Nutan.. so now we were a group of four. In Frankfort, we had to wait for 4 hours.. I was very tired but myself and Nutan went around the airport and doing bakwas timepass…, Ashwin went around too and my sister was too tired to walk so she was in charge of the luggage… In Frankfort we met quite a few students going to India.. and lo! We met a group of my sister’s frens in the airport… and wahan se masti started… now we were a group of 10 ppl .. the flight to Srilanka was nice... me, Anil and didi shared seat with one srilankan, who was such a big nut.. seriously… he was a great comedy.. I think he was a lil’ mental too... he was doing all crazy things and irritating us.. he was bugging the airhostess and all passengers around.. Anil was sitting beside him so I was having all fun and laughing like hell while Anil had some really tough time… he was drunk soon and was off to sleep… then we dozed to sleep too.. had some small naps and saw chandramukhi…(lakalakalakalkalka) and saw some srilankan variety channel..( baap re lavanya got to see the dances in srilankan movies..lol!!) and then parineetha… hmm thats it… this was a long journey too, about 9 hours I think and the flight was delayed by an hour due to bad weather..! and at last we reached srilanka, here we had to wait for 12 hours, so we were taken to a hotel “Dolphin” which was near the sea. We exchanged dollars for srilanka currency at the airport.. 1 dollar was worth 100 rupees so I took 500 rupees and some of them exchanges 15-20$. Everything was so expensive for us in there.. for 500ml of bottled water I had to pay 50rupees..(the marked price.. I noticed later on the bottle was 20 rupees) anyways..lite na.. then refresh hoke we had some breakfast… and went to the sea… the main factor was that we should not doze off to overcome jetlag…. We did lot of masti in the sea.. took some pictures collected some shells.. and by lunch time, we came back to room dressed up again and did some timepass masti-chat for some time.... it was already getting too humid there…. We had our lunch.. the food was great in the restuarent esp the desserts were awesome.. Hey I got a feeling that we were eating a lot during the journey… esp starting from Frankfort, in the srilankan airways, food was being served for ever 2-3 hours I suppose and we were eating all the time....lol!! the airport shuttle came to pick us up at around 3.30pm … I sat in the navigator seat… and started asking too many questions to the driver… annoying him. Giving him directions to the airport and asking him to follow the driving rules… he was driving so rash… it was too scary… in the airport we had to take boarding passes.. .. there were so many Indian students there .. baap re.. all going to Hyderabad.. the flight to Chennai had already left and the flight to Bombay was at 12 in the night,.. so all present at the airport was Hyderabadi junta… there was a lot of confusion at the airport, there were some unidentified suitcases over there and we had to check if it belonged to us and check in back.. thankfully.. our luggage was not in that lot. The airport staff was very rude ans were getting so irritated all the time. All of them were so tired in thr.. all the chit chatting and masti was stopped. We boarded the flight to Hyderabad and dozed off to sleep. I woke up while the flight was landing and as the wheels touched the ground I shouted with excitement… then as the plane came to a halt, everybody started to clap and shout and whistle... it took a lot of time at immigration and baggage collection,… one of my sister’s suitcase was missing so we had to finish the paper work for it and it took almost an hour for her there mwnawhile I was chatting with all the security officers in thr.. and at last after 2 hours after landing we were out of the airport … there was no customs check or anything so everything was cool.. fine.. mom and dad came to receive us at the airport.. and came home at around 11pm. Made some calls, and chatted and slept at around 2 in nignt…

Hey ... me going to India on 10th dec... yeah i know that u know... i ahve been telling this to everybody lately... just to hear "wow thats great..!!" hmm... i am almost done with the shopping part ( yeah abhi i need to buy some more stuff... always thr...) i got many many choclates last weekend from costco so now one suitcase of mine is filled with only with choclates...

Thanksgiving mania..!!

What did you shop for thanksgiving??? the whole America was in a shopping mania!!.... this was a question evryone asked each other and my answer was nothing.. seriously i did not go to K.mart too (K.Mart is just 2 mins walk from my home) i did not buy anything... i am going to India on 10th dec but i did not buy anything..!! hmm.. some of my frens shopped for 1000$ atleast ... so what did i do?? hmm.. good question and the answer is nothing again.. actually Lavanya was down with viral fever so i was at home with her... hmm even then i did not have any plans to shop in the midnight esp in that bitter cold. I went to shoppinglast year and it was a waste of time and energy .. and not really worth to sacrifice the most precious sleep... so stayed home.. and did some timepass... Nikhil had come down from Memphis and we had a lot of fun together usko full pakaya... did not go out much than a desi restuarent and one day trip to Bryn Mawr hospital and a one day trip to Jersey. We had so many visitors at home as Lopa and Lavanya were not well everyone was at our home.... time just flew away... had lots of fun... BTW lavanya is fine now..... and then thanksgiving chale gaya.. hmm.. Sudhakar left, sachin left and Nikhil bhi chale gaya sabhi chalegaye.. every one left like whoosh.. and i am back to school... i have my project due for wednesday... and hammering my head over the stuff... at present I am excited about my India trip which is just few days away... yeh jo desh hai mera.. swadesh hai mera... mujhko pukaraa....

Goblet of fire..!!

hey .... i saw "Harrypotter and the Goblet of Fire" this weekend... it was so awsome... once again proved that its as easy as it is difficult to please Harry Potter fans... confused kya??... just because Jitna bhi dikhao u have'nt seen enough of harry... for those who have read the book, know that it was a wonderful book with loads of adventure... if they had shown whole lot,... TV serial banana padtha tha rather than a movie... hmm... but what was covered in 3 hours was great. Though i was dissapointed coz they omitted a lot ....I was so excited that i did not want to blink and miss the fun...

Its thursday again and my weekend starts tomorrow. I should say i had a pretty good week ... and i have quite a few things planned for this weekend...well tomorrow is Rob's last day in the dept so we are going out for lunch then i have to catch hold of few frens and shoot a video in the school to take home (India) and i think it will take most of the day... then on saturday i am going to get up late and watch some stupid hindi movie to be shown on AVS and then go to school (secret work) ... then i am going to valley forge to see the fall colors if there are any leaves still remaining on any fortunate tree.... i am going to new jersey to my fren Shilpa's home to meet her ... and get some stuff my mom sent from India .. come home late and call it a day and doze off probably ..hmm then on sunday... kya?? get up late again and watch the hindi songs coming for the weekend ... i have to clear some stuff of mine and organize them... and i am planning to start my project work but then it is due three weeks from now so no point doing it ... so i think i'll do something more sensible like leaving messages to my frens, scrapping some ppl on orkut and make silly faces and make some important phone calls...i have to catch Sachin and pakaofy him for some time, again he wont be there for a week now.... and whoosh weekend ho gaya...weeks are passing by so quickly...BTW i am going to India on dec 10th december... awsome na... exactly one month to go... i am going to be back on 17th january so ppl dont miss me much ... my classes are starting on 18th.. so it is going to be a month long trip... i just cant wait to have all the fun.... exactly 1 month to go... you know what!! this is first time i am staying away from home ... yeah i went on few trips in my undergrad but they don’t count right... now when i go back i am no more their "mrinu beti" or "chinna talli" who screws up even simple things and is ready with an explanation lol!! and cant make anything other than a cup of tea... now i am all grown up , I am more matured, i can take care of myself, manage my stuff, cook my food, take decisions.. i know my responsibilities and priorities...i am all new person... now i think will i be able to go home ever not as a guest for few weeks?? well the answer is !#$^%*!... hmm.. well now i wonder how it is going to be for me when i go back home... will there be any surprises on hold ??? will i get emotional ? naah...u must be kidding me... or it is going to be like on of those good old days...yeah for sure it will be na.... hey let me describe a evening going a few years back...well my dad is back from office and me and my sister srart with our complaints and adventures of the day to my papa following him around or while he is sipping his evening tea and nodding to our talk subconsciously while reading a newspaper or doing something more important... my mom then asks us to straighten our things first and finish schoolwork ... and starts telling her adventures with two devils (she never really complaints about my elder sister i donno why???!!) we give some mischievous smiles ..and then we go off pretending to do our school work and start our gossips which goes for a long time with me bossing my sis for some favor she wants to be done and she proving some silly point about his Highness Sachin Tendulkar to my other sister and they get into one more stupidest argument to be ever fought .. and then my dad calls it a day and asks us to go out and have some fun which ends too soon with my mom calling us back again for dinner... watch KBC on TV and off to bed like goodie goodie bachhe...

The 4th movie in the Harry Potter series is due release next week "Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire".... i have already booked tickets for the movie in the turtleman I MAX for saturday..... i bet it is going to be fun... this is the book where Lord Voldemort comes backto power it is packed with adventure and surprise... for u lesser muggles who cant get what i am talking about... let me tell you that you are missing something.... I have many friends who are Harry Potter illiterates i pity them... newayz.... i am all too exited for the adventure.....

lavanya's b'day

today is lavanya's b'day... me made her cut the cake yesterday at 12 in night and then we had some good time... she is 23 now whew..!! she is very much into dancing so i gave her a natraj idol... kewl na.... hmm... u know what .. my class got cancelled today coz Dr.Suri is going to india for a week ... well suma said she is going to give him a list of things to get from india..lol!!.. she was just kidding... next week i have this mid term which is in class closed neighbours and closed book . actually it has been quite some time i had an exam..hmm... last one was on may 5th.. so i have to figure out how i am going to write this midterm exam ... anyways catch u later.

Dinner in D block!!!

yoo... we had dinner in D block thats where deepthi suma and prasanna stay... well we had some cooltime... whew the food was awsome a lil spicy for me but great!! the menu was veg biryani.. chicken fry, pooori, chole, alu khurma, raita, fruits salad and ice-cream..hmmm.. yummy..... actually this party was one long due ...... but we could not have much fun we planned for as it was sunday night and a desi uncle from downstairs came up and gave a big lecture bah... he was so much annoying to the point that he asked them not to slam doors after 9.30.. and gave a big list of do's and donts to follow after 9:30 lol......!! arey yaar thank god we stay in the ground floor else for the hulla we make at our house everyday they would have called 911 ..lol..!!!

I MAX

Today i went to turtleman IMAX it was so kewl... we went to "ROAR lions of kalahari...." it was a national geographic team movie..the big cats we so awsome all the animals were in fact so awsomely cool.. this was a story of a pride of one lion and its 2 lioness and how they claim a sole waterhole in kalahari desert and survive on the animals which come to drink water from thr and as it is the only source in the hottest summer days when the temp soars till 130 degrees some herds like the zebras start leaving in search of more reliable water sources... between all this drama here comes another lion to claim the kingdom of the old lion and declares a war on our mighty king but our king keeps it at bay and protects the lioness and its 5 cubs.. man the cubs are so so cute.. then the summer passes and rains come all the heards return to the kalahari with the rain and one day the new young lion declares a war again.. the two lions fight and the old lion is hurt badly now the new lion claims the teritory and the younger lioness, the old lioness leaves the place with its 5 cubs and the old lion lives in exile for the remaining days of his life.... may be one of the cubs will return to claim back their father's kingdom...
The theater was in Ben Franklin science museum... there was a lot of really cool stuff in the museum.....had tons of fun!!

Rain rain..!!

Do u like rain ??... i love rain... i like evrything about rain i like its noise, its smell, even the keechad..lol!! pata nehe why but when it rains i feel really happy the whole day!!! when i was in India i used to ZOOM off in my scooty in the rain... there is some magic in rain...

my presentation

hey fellas..!! whew i am writing something in the blog again after such a long time... not that i was busy..!! well i had this presentation yesterday. It was a simple presentation of my Project going on... well not that i am RE- searching anything really great..lol!!... actually my professor said that the company ppl who are funding my project are going to come and i thought that there will be quite a few comming and it will be a big affair..:(... but there was only one person present from that so called company .. bechara i asked him 5 times atleast that is there anybody else comming?? he got so frustated and said he is the president of the company...hmm... may be its a small company..see as anybody else i have a standard image for president of any company and this person did not match my standard expectation...lol!!.. well the bottom line is that the presentation went fine...

hey did i tell you i went to Salam Namasthe??!! well it was aparty sponsered by nikhil... as he got a job in memphis in some hilton hotel or something...so he is gone for good..!! whose good i dont know.. may be his own..!! well comming to the movie it was a semi hindi movie in the sense hindi movie with a phirangi subject. arey bhaiyya.. if we wanted to se a english movie we'll watch it na.. when we go to a hindi movie we expect hindi movie type hindi movie not a english movie type hindi movie..:(... well not that i was dissapointed actually there is no movie ever made which can dissapoint audience like me.. !!.. but the best part of the movie thing was watching it sitting in the first row of the theater.hmm... thanks to eveyone we went there very much on time..!#$%&*#.... chalo lite aisebhi ek movie dekh liya.. acha hai acha hai..!!

Give me a break..!!....

hmm... today i am registering for my courses in Environmental engineering. For all those who do not know, i took atransfer from chemical engineering to environmental engineering this semester.. Well this was not a smooth tranfer and caused a lot of confusion and anger in my department because they could not see the reason why i was leaving chmical.. or to put it straight they think i have some hidden agenda which i am not disclosing.. . Everything was going on wrong everywhere but then things just fall into place at the right time for me always so i did not take any tension as such. Why MS??? this was a question i always had in my mind now why environmental and not chemical... why am i wasting my time??? why am i transfering even though i loose 6 credits..huh well these are the questions i have been asking myself and trying to give a good explanation to everyone... about my random decision. but to tell seriously i do not know myself !! sometimes in life we need to take decision which we feel good about just going by instincts. Nobody believes in the fact that i dont think about anything anytime and i just do it. This was the first major decision reagarding me which i made myself . I always did what i was told to. To start with i never wanted to be an engineer i wanted to go to arts!! but i was joined in a MPC batch in a very stupid inter college where i was never allowed to do what i wanted.They always dictated how i shoud be studying and what i should be doing... seriously i stopped caring for waht i was studying because i was not learning anything there . i was just supposed to be doing mechanically what i was told to which was not my cup of tea. then i wanted to do architecture and i applied for that and lo! i got it in JNTU which is a good university but then again i was pushed into chemical engineering saying i'll graduate in 4 yrs comparedto 5 years i had to put up in arch... after that i stopped taking my life seriously.. jo bhi hoga dekha jayega .

hmm... 5 mile walk daily... yeah yeah i used to go daily. But suddenly one day everybody became busy and we stopped going...

Mangal pandey...!! kya rising hai

Amir khan after 4 years..!!! what will be the expectation of any audience.. something different?? intresting?? thrilling???... well i tell you the movie was like an episode taken out of some tele serial... baap re .. it was a good movie but not the way we expected.. yeah i was thrilled seeing Nana Ssaheb, Tantya Tope, Bahadur Shah, Rani Lakshmi Bai and last but not the least apna Mr.Mangal Pandey and a bunch of hindi speaking britishers with some weird accent lol!.. that too in real life.. kabhi dekha hech nehe !! sachi... arey in every 10 mins there comes an elephant with 4 guys sitting on it and waking up the audience with that mangal mangal mangal stuff... rehman did not give good music.... i was too sleepy for the movie so i was entertaining myself repeating the dialouges which was a little creatively annoying..... well not that i really care... lite yaar!! okay thats it chalo then i'll get back to timepass..!!

Read about the london blast... it was so disturbing, it came as a sequel to the Ayodhya blast.... So many innocent people were killed for nothing, seriously i hate these millitants.. idiots they are worth a crap.. they attacked the subway bus and blew it to thousand peices. i think there will be a war now.....

This is one more of the everydays.... but did some work today with deepthi.. seriously yaar and I am feeling so hungry....just waiting for lavanya to finish her online chatting... meanwhile i thought i will post something here. hmm.. got up early today . and came to school by 9:40 train.. (katti kada)... my cousin bujji( Raghav..) got a job in IMS which is in Blue Bell PA its just 14 miles from my place.. so that was a great news!!... . Vijetha me and lavanya did lot of masti yesterday. Have to go home and sleep for some time now and then hit the trail with Sachin Niku and Lavanya.. its a 5 mile trail with our beautiful houses on either side.... Hey ya i forgot about the bet.. actually me and niku had a bet on the pistons Vs spurs game.. which i won... i need to check about it today...

Long weekend fun......!!

I had a lot of fun for this long wekend… for me it started with movie Sarkar..( u got to watch it for Abhishek) it was good. Then on Saturday I went to ocean city and atlantic city with Lavanya Mridula Shilpa Sudhakar and Vijetha we had a lot of fun together the drive was too hillarious with me navigating and Sudhakar driving. We lost the route completely and had to drive for an hour more…;) but the greatest part was nobody cared for if we even reached the destination . at last we made it to the ocean city which was some kind of acheivement.. it was 6.30 pm by the time we reached there. We played the personality game along the drive.. its a really intresting game where we have to exchange our identities ... the best combinatin was where i was lavanya lavanya was vijetha and vijetha was me . The ocean was awsome… we played with the waves for two hours. Lavanya was so scared to enter in the water. Vijetha started to build something with sand which according to her was Taj Mahal… From there went to Atlantic city… the casinos were so huge. We started early from there at around 11pm. The next day in six flags could’nt be better to end such a great weekend. Enjoyed all the rides screaming on this hot day but we missed the Superman ride as there was a long Q … the safari was really good there were so many species of animals out there lions tigers kangaroos bisons monkeys camels mules zebra giraffe bears ostrich ….. many more… all bindaas in their own world… this was the end of our weekend came home( I was not navigating this time good guess..:) . I was a little dissapointed that I could not watch the fireworks…. but everything else made up to it….
